Roles Within a Family

Have you ever wondered if family dynamic, social class and individual family relationships play a role in the family as a whole? The answer is yes, it does. All of these factors play a big role in how kids are raised and the well being of the family.

John 15:12 states “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.” This doesn't always align with the world's current views of social status. Have you ever watched a movie or read a book, or experienced in real life where social status completely affects how someone is treated or treats other people? For instance, maybe the star football player in high school acts too good to talk to the kids he considers to be not as cool as he is. This is just one example of how your self-inflicted social status can affect how you treat others. Despite what you think the majority of individuals' thoughts of themselves comes from their home life and how they were raised, not necessarily how others see them.

Now that you know how social status can affect the family I bet you were wondering what role the family dynamic and individual family relationships play on the family as a whole.

It is ideal for parents to get along and be on the same page when it comes to raising their children. Parents who do not get along often have tension in their home resulting in many children growing up with anxiety. The roles between different family members within the family also play a big part of the overall family dynamic. September 23, 1995 the Family proclamation to the world came out. Within the proclamation it states that “By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In the sacred responsibilities fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners.” Every family is unique in their own way, however just as stated in the family proclamation to the world it is very important for fathers and mothers to help one another as equal partners.

As you can see family dynamic, social class and individual family relationships play a huge role in the family as a whole and the children being raised within the family. These different up brings play an enormous role on children and who they become.
