In the World not of the World

 Another week and another lesson to be learned. After this many weeks you would think I have it all figured out but that doesn't seem to be the case. Things are going more smoothly but I have come to realize that you are never done learning. There is always something new that you can learn. This last week I was focused on the little details. I have come to found they make the biggest difference. zit really is true that by small and simple things great things are brought to pass. Some of the small things that I have been working on  and learning more about is organizing my website to be more user friendly. I also change some of my key words and have been working on being more creative when it comes to marketing. I have expand some of the items that I offer and changed there prices.        The improvements never stops! This week I worked on improving my marketing and different feature on the website. I am very hopeful that this will help my business get more action.      I changed some of my key words. I increase the quality of them. I also started another google ad campaign. The last one I ran for a month. This time I am increasing the amount of money for each day and then going to run it for a shorter period of time. I am hopeful this will work better then the last campaign that I ran. I have also been trying to be creative with my marketing approaches. This last week I made a bunch of QR codes that lead to our website. Next week I am going to put them on the doors of the different apartment complects around campus.     I have also been working on improving little details on the website.  What a week it has been! Just when I thinking I am starting to figure out how to run my business I find out that there is so much that I never knew. This week a learned a lot about google analytics. Before this week I didn't know much at all about google analytics. Now this week I am using it to help my business. I have connected it with my google ads and it has been quite insightful. Google analytics tracks how much traffic your website has. This information is very useful because if your website isn't getting many viewers you might need to reconsider adding higher quality key words. On the other hand if you are having a lot of traffic on your website but it isn't resulting in sales then you may need to consider your prices and if they are reasonable or posting new items for sale. This is some of the positive out comes that can come from using google ads. 

As I have done my research this week I have come to find the importance of having good headlines. This is something that I previously had never considered. I am not sure why I didn't consider the importance of this in the past. After all it is the first thing that many people will see. It plays a large role in determining if someone is going to click on your link and go check out your website or not. This is why it is very important to come up with something that will attract people to your site.  I also have come to learn a lot about different google ads this week. I have started running my own google ads for my business Stitch N Knit and it has taught me a lot. There are several different types of google ads that you can choose from.  This week I have officially created my first business and started running it. I have learned a lot that I want to share with you. There are many different steps that I had never considered before. An obvious thing you need to do is create a website. You will also need to create a bank account where you will receive your payments. You will need a business email or other form of contact information. You will also need to decide if you will be requiring your customers to pay first or put a down payment on things. You will need to decide what your return policies will be. Shipping and how you go about that is another thing to take into account. As you can see there are many different things that you need to consider. These are all dictions that I made for my business this week. 

     A lot goes into buying a Business. This is something that I hadn't previously considered. Through my research I have learned a lot that I want to share with you. E-myth part one suggests that just because you are good at your trade or what you do doesn't necessarily mean that you will be a good business owner and operator. It suggests the strong importance of being knowledgeable in the business world in order to be successful. When selecting a business to buy there is a lot that you need to look into and consider. You not only need to look at how much they are selling it for but also how much it has made over the last few years. You need to check what the growth rate is and the market for the business.
